Welcome to Newport Public Education Foundation
Welcome to the home of the Newport Public Education Foundation, an independent, non-profit foundation which strives to promote excellence in teaching and educational leadership. By developing joint public-private ventures, teachers are given access to additional financial resources, volunteer help, and community investment. NPEF’s work to bring the Thompson Middle School Capital Campaign to a successful conclusion is a proud example of the Foundation’s community outreach.
The board of the Foundation is made up of members of the community from a variety of disciplines and businesses that volunteer their time and services. Each board member brings expertise and commitment to help secure a first-class public school experience for each and every child in the Newport school system.
