The Newport Public Education Foundation is pleased to announce that grants totaling more than $17,000 were awarded to the following teachers and staff in the Newport Public Schools:

  • At Coggeshall School, to Marilyn Donnelly for a program entitled Culturally Fit Kids


  • At Cranston Calvert School, to Kathleen Bradley and Lisa Pagliarini for a program entitled Building Relationships Through Hobbies


  • At Cranston Calvert School, to Kate Caruolo and Lori Delemos for a program entitled Buddying for Literacy


  • At Cranston Calvert School, to Jennifer Booth in coordination with Island Moving Company for a program entitled Creative Movement in Grade 2


  • At Cranston Calvert School, to Claire Mey and Terrence Mey for a program involving the Audubon Society
