- Kate Gardullo at Thompson Middle School for a Narrative Procedure Unit
- Jean MacLean at Cranston Calvert School for Writing For Reading
- Aaron Sherman at Carey School for Field Studies at home in coordination with the Norman Bird Sanctuary
- Jennifer Booth at Cranston Calvert School for a Birthday Book Library
- Jane Perry at Cranston Calvert School for March Into History, a unit on Anne Hutchinson
- Jennifer Booth at Cranston Calvert School for the Physics of Roller Coasters
- Tina Brownell and the grade 6 teachers at Thompson Middle School for study of the Narragansett Bay
- Barbara O’Neill and Liza Sporcic of Cranston Calvert School for “Watch The Seeds of Reading Grow”
- Brian Ferreira at NACTC for building picnic tables to support “Watch The Seeds of Reading Grow” at Cranston Calvert School

- Jennifer Adams and Abby Dunn at Sullivan School for an after-school program about Cultures Around The World
- Alan Bernstein for All City Band and Orchestra at the elementary, middle and high school

- Barbara Walton-Faria and middle school science teachers for Plankton Monitoring in grades 6,7 and 8 and for Exploring Narragansett Bay
- Donna Kelly at Underwood School for Ready, Set…Kindergarten
- A community grant for Alan Bernstein and the K-12 art department to work with Newport Restoration Foundation. Students in grades 3, 8 and at the high school work with staff at Rough Point to learn about and create art around the current theme of textile and fashion
- A community grant for Newport Art Museum to work with the Art Department at Rogers High School around a project called MUSE, an introduction to Museum Studies
